More on the scaling of cities

Louis Bettencourt of the Santa Fe Institute has just made a paper available on the scaling of cities.  The article is behind a paywall at this location, but a snip from the abstract provides a hint about the paper –  which seems most intriguing.

“A theoretical framework was developed to predict the average social, spatial, and infrastructural properties of cities as a set of scaling relations that apply to all urban systems.”
